Nikki Hooper, MD

Dr. Nikki Hooper is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha with sub-specialty expertise in paediatric orthopaedics and adult foot and ankle surgery. A senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Otago, she convenes the Orthopaedics and Advanced Surgery module. After completing her orthopaedic training in New Zealand, Dr. Hooper pursued a fellowship in paediatric orthopaedics at BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver, and has since established the Christchurch branch of the International Hip Dysplasia Registry to improve outcomes for children with hip dysplasia.
